Responsibilities:
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload shipments as directed.
- Assist in organizing inventory and maintaining stock levels.
- Break down pallets and prepare materials for order picking or shipping.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain its condition through basic checks.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Follow all company safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Physical strength and stamina are required to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing. Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all procedures is vital. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is helpful. Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions. Basic understanding of material handling equipment is a plus. Safety consciousness and the correct use of PPE are required for all employees. This role supports critical logistics functions.
