This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution center. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and store goods appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Physical stamina is required to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs. A keen eye for detail ensures accuracy in all tasks. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous but not required. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential for this role. We are committed to a safe working environment.
