Join our team as an Order Picker in Orlando, Florida! This position is fundamental to our warehouse operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently gathering items to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will utilize various tools, such as scanners and order lists, to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves. Your ability to work quickly and accurately is essential for maintaining our high standards of service. We prioritize a safe and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items to ensure they match the order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain productivity levels and meet daily order picking goals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures strictly.
- Wear required PPE , including safety vests and footwear, as instructed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support overall Logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for repetitive motion and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
