Our Detroit, Michigan facility is looking for energetic Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this is the role for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include using RF scanners to locate products within the warehouse, accurately picking items, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to strictly follow safety procedures, wear the required PPE (such as safety vests and gloves), and employ proper lifting techniques. The role involves physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using RF scanning technology.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order details and item quantities for accuracy.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding warehouse areas.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Utilize safe lifting and material handling practices.
- Assist with inventory control activities as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics operations.
