We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage operations at our Richmond, Virginia location. The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with transport providers. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to optimizing warehouse performance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in Logistics.
- Ensure all team members adhere to wearing appropriate PPE.
- This role requires occasional Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Champion a culture of Safety throughout the warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and WMS.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to upholding strict Safety standards and ensuring PPE compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of Logistics and supply chain management.
