We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Boston, Massachusetts location! This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing logistics company. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You should be a team player, capable of working independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment. A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is essential. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment, supporting our overall logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all procedures for lifting and material handling to ensure personal safety and prevent damage to goods.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods. Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse setting is important. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess good communication skills. Eagerness to learn and contribute to the logistics team is highly valued. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.
