We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our dynamic distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Follow instructions for Lifting and handling of goods.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and overall logistics efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and Lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to comply with all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
