Our busy logistics hub in Seattle, Washington is seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is critical for the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse. If you have proven experience operating forklifts and a strong commitment to Safety, we want to hear from you. You will be instrumental in managing inventory flow and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring product integrity and security.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics operations.
- Follow all instructions regarding Lifting and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols in a logistics environment.
- Willingness to adhere to all PPE requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
