Our Sacramento, California team is searching for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to manage outbound logistics. This critical role ensures that all outgoing shipments are accurately documented, packed, and prepared for timely delivery. You will be responsible for processing shipping orders, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with carriers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Understanding of shipping software and logistics processes is a plus. We prioritize a safe working environment and require all employees to follow strict Safety protocols, including the appropriate use of PPE. While not as physically demanding as some roles, occasional Lifting may be necessary. Responsibilities:
- Process and verify all outgoing shipping documentation.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper packing and labeling.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Inspect outgoing goods for quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory verification as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Handle tasks that may involve light to moderate Lifting.
