Are you an experienced Picker/Packer looking for an exciting opportunity in San Diego, California? We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our busy logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This position is crucial for our efficient order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and speed. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, handling a variety of products and utilizing warehouse technology. A strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier and company guidelines.
- Stage packed orders in designated areas for pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to team productivity and quality goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets or use scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
