Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, protecting them from damage.
- Operate scanning equipment and basic warehouse machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing orders.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motion and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Team player with the ability to follow directions.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
