Join our Houston, Texas distribution center as a Warehouse Associate. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to support our daily logistics operations. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines meticulously.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
