Join our innovative team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing stock levels to support our extensive logistics network. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy. This position requires a deep understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively. You will work closely with the warehouse operations team to identify and resolve issues related to stock availability, storage, and movement. Key responsibilities include analyzing inventory data, reporting on stock conditions, and recommending improvements to inventory processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail. While not primarily a physically demanding role, there may be occasional requirements for moderate Lifting to access or verify stock. A strong commitment to Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This role is fundamental to efficient logistics and requires a proactive approach to inventory management. You will play a key part in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.
