This role is essential for the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network, contributing to everything from receiving to dispatch. Your duties will encompass handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety; all employees must strictly adhere to established safety procedures and wear the mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The role requires the ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting, as you will be moving products of various sizes and weights throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Sort and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, with proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
- Follow instructions carefully to ensure order accuracy and timely processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to follow directions and Safety guidelines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must wear required PPE as dictated by Safety protocols.
- Familiarity with general logistics principles is a plus.
