We are seeking energetic and dependable Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be essential to our daily warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. A commitment to a safe work environment and adherence to company protocols are paramount. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the logistics field and develop valuable skills.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting and stock verification.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Awareness of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
