We are actively seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to efficiency, accuracy, and maintaining a safe working environment. You'll be an integral part of our logistics network, ensuring that products move seamlessly through our facility to reach our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct usage of PPE.
- Assist in inventory control by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Load and unload goods from trucks.
- Contribute to team goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
