This position is critical to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the correct quantity and product are selected. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on **safety**, and adherence to all **safety** regulations, including the proper use of **PPE**, is mandatory. This role involves significant walking, standing, and **Lifting** of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use scanning equipment to track picked items.
- Transport picked items to packing and shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols and wear appropriate **PPE**.
- Perform **Lifting** of products, sometimes up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support **logistics**.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any discrepancies or issues.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive **Lifting**. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE**. Basic understanding of **logistics** processes. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
