You will utilize hand scanners and pick lists to locate and retrieve items from our warehouse shelves, then prepare them for packaging and dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists and scanner data.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and logistics support as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our order fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with lifting up to 40-50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
