In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all logistics functions. You will be instrumental in coordinating activities such as inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and stock accuracy.
- Manage the receiving and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of goods.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in logistics operations.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment.
- Maintain records of inventory, shipments, and expenses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Assist with tasks involving Lifting and material movement as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional significant Lifting.
- Experience in process improvement and efficiency optimization.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
