We are actively recruiting a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and plays a key part in our overall logistics network. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying counts and condition.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for carriers, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to established protocols.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include lifting and moving goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and performing significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
