Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Train and mentor new and existing warehouse associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage staff schedules and assignments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment.
- Experience in a high-volume distribution center environment.
