Join our vibrant logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and perform various warehouse duties. In this role, you will be instrumental in moving materials, supporting inventory management, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. A strong adherence to Safety protocols is essential, and you will be required to use the appropriate PPE at all times. The position demands attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work productively in a dynamic environment. While forklift operation is your primary responsibility, you may also be involved in other warehouse tasks, including manual labor that requires some Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company Safety rules and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless Logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include manual Lifting .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift is required.
- Valid forklift certification or license.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and Logistics operations.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and associated Safety measures.
- Commitment to wearing and using required PPE consistently.
- Ability to perform tasks that require occasional manual Lifting .
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
