We are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a hands-on role crucial to the efficient functioning of our warehouse and logistics operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate is a team player with good physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions accurately. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be able to lift moderate to heavy items regularly, often up to 50 lbs. Safety is non-negotiable; all associates must adhere to strict safety guidelines and consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. This role requires attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and inventory integrity. Opportunities for learning new skills and operating different types of warehouse equipment may be available. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock received goods into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders carefully and ensure they are ready for shipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.
