Our logistics center in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. This role is vital for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse to retrieve specific items based on order details, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our clients and the smooth operation of our distribution network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order slips or scanning devices.
- Ensure correct product identification and quantity are picked for each order.
- Transport picked items to designated packing stations or staging areas.
- Conduct quality checks to verify order accuracy before it moves to the next stage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Strictly follow all guidelines for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Be prepared for tasks that involve frequent lifting of products.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any order or inventory issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
