Join our vibrant logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts as a Picker/Packer. This position is critical for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a direct role in customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists and scanning technology.
- Pack items carefully and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform tasks that require consistent lifting and moving of products throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervision in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Capacity to work at a consistent pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
