We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all outgoing shipments. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for ensuring that our products are shipped correctly and on schedule. You will coordinate with carriers, manage shipping documentation, and maintain an orderly shipping area, contributing directly to our supply chain's success.Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outbound shipments with precision.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate and organized shipping records.
- Ensure the shipping dock is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including shipping software and label printers.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and proper PPE usage.
- Capacity for lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain operations.
