We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join our critical logistics center in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Your work will directly support the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain. We uphold the highest standards of Safety and expect all employees to strictly adhere to all Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status, identifying reorder needs.
- Develop and implement procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage and damage.
- Ensure accuracy in receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
- Manage the organization and location of inventory within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist in training new associates on inventory control best practices.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role is essential. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform moderate Lifting and work in a warehouse environment. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to Safety. Must be comfortable wearing and using required PPE.
