Join our bustling warehouse operations in Chicago, Illinois, as a Picker/Packer! We need dedicated individuals to ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. This role is a cornerstone of our Logistics network, directly impacting customer satisfaction. As a Picker/Packer, you will meticulously select items from inventory shelves using order sheets or scanners, then carefully package them for shipment. The work involves active participation, including significant Lifting of products, standing, and walking throughout the shift. We emphasize a strong culture of Safety , and all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE and follow established safety procedures without exception. We are looking for reliable, organized, and energetic individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, but not mandatory, as we provide thorough training to set you up for success. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic, this is the role for you. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Verify order contents against invoices.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear the necessary PPE .
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
