San Diego, California is seeking a skilled Material Handler to manage the flow of goods within our warehouse. This crucial role involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. As a Material Handler, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse Logistics and the smooth operation of inbound and outbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and orderly storage environment. We require candidates to have experience with various types of warehouse equipment and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Physical fitness is essential, as the role demands significant Lifting and the ability to stand for long periods. Ensuring adherence to all Safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is non-negotiable. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and possesses excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Organize warehouse stock and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Identify and report damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and wear required PPE .
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues.
