We are seeking a proactive and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This dual role is critical to the seamless flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, accurately documenting receipts, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You will work collaboratively with our logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of all materials. We provide a safe work environment and ensure all employees are equipped with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a vital part of the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately document all received goods in the inventory system.
- Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks securely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both receiving and shipping zones.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Must be comfortable with regular Lifting of packages and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Punctual and reliable attendance is essential.
- Commitment to ensuring the integrity of outgoing shipments.
