Job Summary:
Join our growing logistics operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as a Material Handler! We are looking for individuals who are ready to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful handling, movement, and organization of various materials and products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount to our success. This position offers a great chance to be part of a significant logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and stage materials for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and placement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Perform manual lifting and maneuvering of goods as required, following safe lifting techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics role is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability for consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to following all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding environment.
