The Branch Manager provides front-line support for our Kansas City office. The Branch manager promotes and upholds a better environmental experience. The daily operations of all staff and functions are carried out, planned, and coordinated by the Branch Manager. It is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with plenty of opportunities to solve problems and interact with a diverse group of Midwest Respiratory employees.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact for branch issues for the Kansas City office and works to get facility-related issues resolved in a timely manner
• Ensure all facilities and vehicles are in compliance with local ordinances, HQAA, DOT, and OSHA regulations through regular audits
• Maintains facility safety & emergency preparedness and is available to respond quickly in case of a building emergency
• Schedules Delivery employees on a daily and on-call basis.
• Completes daily route preparation.
• Assigns additional routes as patient and referral requests are received. May occasionally perform Delivery employees' responsibilities if there is a temporary shortage of delivery employees.
• Troubleshoots problems regarding the shortages of Delivery employee staff, routes, and equipment loading.
• Monitors and/or maintains close contact with Delivery employees throughout the day to ensure routes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains proper levels of stock in the warehouse.
• Performs minor equipment repair and maintenance as required. Maintains files on all equipment.
• Responds to telephone calls from patients, referral sources, vendors, and Delivery employees regarding equipment orders, patient problems, and delivery employee incidents.
• Supervises a team of primarily nonexempt employees.
• Responsible for hiring, guiding, and managing the performance of employees.
• Verifies that each employee continues to perform at an acceptable level.
