Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Geologist based in Thunder Bay, ON, with a combination of fieldwork and remote tasks. Responsibilities include conducting geological fieldwork, assisting with geological mapping, logging drill cores, and supporting geophysical surveys. The role also involves participating in drilling operations and assisting in the management of exploration programs. Candidates will be expected to maintain accurate records and provide reports, as well as collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the success of projects.

Qualifications

• Strong skills and experience in Field Work, Geological Mapping, and Logging
• Familiarity with Drilling operations and core sampling processes an asset
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in remote field locations and under varying environmental conditions
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
