Summary of Position

Our company is seeking a highly motivated Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Freight Forwarding Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with Triumph’s customers. Oversees the international movement of goods and ensures shipments are booked, tracked, and delivered efficiently while complying with global trade regulations and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This would be done by providing status updates, resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service to customers
• Track and tracing cargo status
• Inform customer of shipment status
• Perform shipment release upon ready (with B/L and payment verified)
• Ensure all filed closed properly on or before deadline
• Problem solving
• Monitor ATA/ETA with carriers and ensure freight has arrived as per schedule.
• Ensure import arrival notices are dispatched to clients well in advance
• Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with internal and external customers
• Ensure timely and effective communication takes place within defined time limits.
• Maintain a positive working relationship at all levels.
• Provide necessary information to internal staff

• Interface with overseas agent / vendor

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
• 2 + years of work experience in operations coordination(AIR/OCEAN)
• Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Able to identify key issues and provide resolutions
