Operations Manager

Looking for a leadership opportunity where your impact truly matters? Inventronics is hiring an Operations Manager for their Brandon location. This position is responsible for leading all operational aspects related to customer order fulfillment from receipt of work order through to shipping. This includes managing the persons responsible for supporting those functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Plan and manage functional operations to support customer order fulfillment
• Develop and implement appropriate strategies to ensure personnel are competent
• Ensure that the Quality Management System is effectively implemented in all operational areas
• Establish and maintain documents, and data efficiently within the systems
• Ensure that all employees work in a safe environment and are provided appropriate opportunities in line with their experience and training
• Responsible for the safe operation and security of all plant assets and processes
• Develop and retain relationships with Design/Manufacturing, and Sales to support product realization
• Provide accurate and timely information to be used in strategic and functional business decision-making processes
• Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship in the execution of their responsibilities
• Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Proven experience in operations management, manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and asset protection
• Proficient with computers and technology with the ability to learn and utilize software programs.
• Strong organization skills and communication skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
