Project Manager

Project Manager - Level 1 ( utility, engineering, or construction)

1 Year contract

Hybrid in Vancouver

Must haves:

• 5-7 years of experience in program or project management.
• Be able to demonstrate that the caliber of programs or projects delivered in the past is of high complexity and/or high value/budget (preferably in a utility, engineering, or construction environment)
• Intermediate technical knowledge in a specific field (ex. Engineering, Technical, Trade, Business or Sciences) with some general knowledge of other fields
• Strong grasp of project and program management principles, various delivery models and contracting strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and management skills and the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities to work with data to forecast trends and report on progress using software such as Excel and Tableau.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to present key project information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Asset:

• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is considered an asset.
• An Engineering degree or equivalent is considered an asset. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
