SUMMARY

Valcoustics, a Trinity Consultants Company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate to support our Acoustics Studio. In this role, you will report directly to a Studio Head and play a key part in successfully executing project deliverables across various acoustical consulting projects. As an Associate, your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and drafting work for technical accuracy and consistency, assisting in developing acoustical models and visual renderings, preparing marketing and presentation materials, and supporting day-to-day project coordination activities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct calculations and present results to the project manager
  • Drawing review and site surveys
  • Ensure company technical and professional standards are met
  • Keep the project manager informed on client and project issues for assigned projects
  • Attend project meetings with clients and prepare meeting summaries in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare reports for submission to clients
  • Learn and utilize acoustical software
  • Assist in marketing the firm, through providing clients with excellent and timely work product
  • Foster repeat business, develop client relationships
  • Attend business-related events through which contacts would be developed
  • Utilize the CRM fully to log opportunities, clients, and project information


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Familiarity with acoustical modeling software
  • Basic skills in visual tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
  • Basic understanding of project coordination and design workflows


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Science in Acoustics, Engineering, or related field
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant professional experience
