Head Dispatcher

Our client is a mid-sized trucking business located in the Oshawa area. They are an asset-based carrier running a couple of major lanes between the GTA + US East Coast. With continued business growth they are looking for a Head Dispatcher with a minimum 5 year experience.

Your role will include all facets of dispatching

• Daily planning of drivers, trucks, trailers and scheduling of loads

• Coordinating loading of trucks by warehouse staff

• Booking delivery and pick up appointments

• Dealing directly with customers regarding orders and changes

• Monitoring and managing drivers hours of service

• Monitoring and managing dispatch office and staff

You will have good experience in the dispatch space, working with both domestic and cross border shipments; handling both LTL and FTL freight.

This position comes with an attractive compensation package.
