Status: This is a newly created position to support current and future operational needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Stonerise Construction is looking for an Assistant Site Superintendent to be responsible for responsible for all construction project direction, scheduling, completion, and financial overview. This is an in-office position.
As the Assistant Site Superintendent, you will:
- Assist the Site Superintendent with overall site management and execution of day-to-day site activities
- Oversee and manage the general labour force and trade specific tasks
- Promote a safe work environment and ensuring all employees and trades work in a safe manner, following Stonerise’s Safety program and relevant safety legislation and regulation
- Liaising and maintaining positive relationships with trade partners and suppliers
- Monitoring work to ensure it meets Stonerise’s standards and all building and safety code regulations.
- Ensuring that required inspections with the building department, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction and scheduled and coordinated to maintain project deliverables
- Completing required Quality Control/Quality Assurance Inspections, assigning deficiencies to trade contractors, and managing deficiency close out
- Assisting in monitoring the project progress and schedules
- Completing regular progress reports, checklists, logbooks, and other required reports
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Construction-related diploma or degree, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on-site as part of large-scale developments
- Experience in High Rise Construction is a must
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
- Minimum two to three (2-3) years in the construction industry
- Experience with relevant Construction Software
- MS Office Knowledge

Salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year. We offer the following benefits:
