As a Team Manager , you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives by delivering high-quality services that empower our service users to reach their full potential. Our Brickfield service in Buntingford is a vibrant 24-hour residential care home, supporting 6 residents with varying degrees of learning disabilities and complex needs. Here, we focus on fostering independence, tailoring our services to meet each individual's unique communication, mobility, and health requirements.

We believe in creating positive family relationships and a supportive community. With a strong emphasis on person-centered care, you will engage in various activities, assist with budgeting, shopping, and cooking, all while prioritizing the well-being of our residents and nurturing their connections with family and friends.

Your Responsibilities

As a Team Manager, you and your team will:

  • Develop flexible and realistic support plans and risk assessments in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Review and update support plans regularly to reflect each person's evolving needs and aspirations.
  • Liaise with health professionals and chair various meetings.
  • Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and hold Best Interest meetings.
  • Manage DoLS applications effectively.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

We are seeking adaptable Team Managers who thrive in dynamic environments. You will:

  • Lead a team of Support Workers, allocating tasks and managing shifts.
  • Directly oversee a team of support staff, including managing rotas, sickness, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Address performance issues while providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to connect with diverse audiences.

Experience in the care sector is essential, particularly in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and health issues. If you are a team player ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
