Please review the qualifications below for each level.*** Expected Salary Range: Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000 Senior Level - $122,400 - $154,000 Salary ranges are annual and contingent upon experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions. Primary Purpose of Position This role is vital for advanced technical and engineering problem-solving in support of our nuclear plant operations. As a key decision-maker, the engineer must possess extensive knowledge in their discipline along with familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Deliver specialized technical expertise to oversee, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs. Provide hands-on consultation to identify and resolve system and equipment challenges. Oversee engineering tasks and projects by applying engineering principles and practices. Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of work while maintaining configuration management and adherence to design standards, practices, procedures, and codes. Conduct independent research and analysis to support technical initiatives and projects. Propose innovative equipment solutions and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, or meet updated codes and regulations. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management, which may include emergency response, departmental support, call-outs, and assistance during outages. Minimum Qualifications for Mid-level E02 Engineer Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 2 years of relevant nuclear or engineering experience. Ability to meet unescorted access requirements, including favorable medical examinations in line with position responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications for Senior E03 Engineer Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Ability to meet unescorted access requirements, including favorable medical examinations in line with position responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer registration. Experience in commercial power plant engineering. Mechanical design experience is highly preferred.
