Sales Support Analyst
The Sales Support Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Sales Operations department to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient processes. This role is responsible for reviewing and validating warranty documentation, registering warranties, and ensuring proper funding and reconciliation within the general ledger. The Analyst monitors transactions, performs detailed reconciliations, identifies discrepancies, and supports reporting to maintain data integrity and operational accuracy. What You'll Do: Analyze and register new and used equipment warranties with Caterpillar, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with requirements. Perform detailed general ledger analysis, maintenance, and reconciliation of sales-related accounts; investigate variances and implement corrective actions. Monitor and reconcile CVA enrollment data, identifying discrepancies and providing reporting insights to management. Support monthly gross profit analysis by reviewing revenue, cost components, margin trends, and preparing variance explanations. Analyze and administer damaged machine claims, ensuring accurate documentation, financial impact assessment, and timely resolution. Review and validate shipping and financial documentation for lease returns and auction equipment. Maintain and audit online machine configurations and pricing structures, analyzing market alignment and margin impact. Support machine billing processes through data validation, discrepancy resolution, and reporting oversight. Analyze and process post-sale credit claims for eligible machines and attachments. Prepare ad hoc financial and operational reports to support leadership decision-making. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, internal controls, and workflow efficiency. Perform additional analytical and financial support duties as assigned. What You'll Need: Associate's degree; two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Demonstrates critical thinking in their ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
