Individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.Construction Site Manager - Major Works (specialized in Geneva)Job Objectives:Ensure the direction and monitoring of major works on projects and manage compliance with costs, deadlines, quality standards, and safety requirements specific to interventions on existing structures. Identify the technical constraints of existing buildings and propose suitable and optimized execution solutions. Supervise the construction teams and ensure effective, safe, and compliant execution.Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare, plan, and organize major works on projects, conducting site surveys, analyzing existing conditions, and anticipating structural, architectural, and technical constraints.- Define execution methods adapted to the particularities of the existing building (phasing, partial demolitions, reinforcements), and coordinate the major works teams (internal and subcontractors), ensure daily monitoring and control of the technical quality of the work.- Strictly ensure compliance with safety standards, particularly in constrained environments characteristic of the job site.- Analyze production costs: daily reports, yields, and monthly analyses.- Establish measurements, management frameworks, additional estimates, requests for proposals, and negotiate with subcontractors.- Ensure management of minutes, site reports, major works schedules, and technical monitoring.- Maintain regular and transparent communication with clients regarding all aspects of major works: progress, constraints, risks, needs, and techniques.- Participate in site meetings representing Implenia in the scope of major works and ensuring the good management of issues, constraints, and technical solutions.- Participate in partial and final receptions, ensuring the handling of reservations related to major works.Profile Sought:- Degree in civil engineering, construction management technician, or equivalent (CFC + ES/HES or equivalent).- Confirmed experience of 3 to 5 years in managing major works sites, ideally in Switzerland, with knowledge of SIA standards, major works techniques, and specifics related to existing structures.- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage unforeseen events, along with rigor and autonomy.- Leadership on the ground and ability to mobilize teams.- Proficiency in client relationships and ability to represent Implenia effectively.- Mastery of monitoring and reporting tools in French.Advantages:- Dynamic and exciting working environment.- Competitive salaries and company car according to pension fund with various annual performance-based salary brackets.- Accident insurance coverage up to 33 days of vacation compensated by year.At Implenia, we prioritize our employees.
