At our site in Böblingen you will find both as Mechanical Infrastructure Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities Works in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment Brings new mechanical infrastructure products of the V93000 IC tester into production on time Assures manufacturing, quality and reliability of technically challenging mechanical products throughout the outsourced supply chain Develops, maintains and shares expertise of mechanical product design of the V93000 within Advantest including advice to peers and management Selects supplier and runs supplier qualification through potential analysis and process audits to constantly fulfill customer and business requirements Implementation of preventive quality and approval measures at external suppliers Collaborates closely and x-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain and Product marketing and global support teams in a very international environment Aspects to further consider are manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives to drive quality, cost, and supply metrics towards defined goals Your Qualifications Bachelor/Masters’ degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent Broad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high knowledge of mechanical high level assemblies Knowledge of mechanical product development with CAD tool support Proactive, flexible and innovative mindset with analytical problem solving skills, demonstrating strong ownership Background as Supplier Quality Manager/Supplier Auditor Project management skills in daily life highly wished Good Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in English and German Willingness to travel
