*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
* Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental concerns to ensure safe and effective treatment.
* Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
* Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
*Skills*
* Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Mogo for documentation review and patient records management. Can be trained on.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures to communicate effectively with team members and patients.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatric patient care to comfortably handle young patients’ needs.
* Ability to perform vital signs assessment, medical coding, and review medical records accurately.
* Familiarity with infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques within a dental clinic setting.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 21 per week
