THE WORK:

Lead crew (clock ins/outs, motivation, discipline, training, safety, productivity, efficiency, etc.)

• Lay permeable and traditional pavers and patterned and irregular natural stone
• Build dry and masonry walls
• Install pools, spas, ponds and water features
• Operate machinery in all conditions
• Complete projects with little oversight from others
• Develop and meet daily and weekly goals
• Layout and install from plans independently, including setting grades correctly
• Inspect job sites throughout for highest quality standards

THE SKILLS:

• Highly motivated, focused, self-starter
• Computer/app literate
• Able to handle any issues, a great problem solver and critical thinker
• Able to operate all equipment, machinery, trucks, and trailers in varying conditions
• Proficient in using simple hand tools (shovel, spade, etc.) and small equipment
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills in a construction setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately

BONUS SKILLS:

• Proficiency in OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Experience in project scheduling and construction management software
• Familiarity with budgeting and construction estimating processes
• Background in welding, construction, and mechanical work
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferable: CMHA/ICPI certified, drystone or masonry certified, or other industry certifications, welding, mechanic, additional construction experience

THE PAY & BENEFITS:

• Competitive pay, will commensurate with experience and skill
• A balanced work-life schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:15AM-5:45PM, Friday 7:10AM-1:00PM+ weather dependent 40-45 hours (we have worked only 2 weekends in 5 years)
