Sales Development Representative Location: Chester (Office-Based) Package: £25,000-£28,000 basic salary + uncapped commission The Opportunity: Clover Talent is partnered with one of the UK’s fastest-growing commercial finance brokerages, headquartered in Northampton. With an ambitious culture and an award-winning reputation, they are looking to hire a motivated Sales Development Representative to join their new office in Chester. This is a proactive sales role focused on generating and qualifying new finance opportunities within the professional services sector. You’ll be building and maintaining relationships with lawyers, solicitors, accountants, and other key introducers. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with clear progression opportunities into Account Manager or Broker roles as the division grows. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain strong relationships with professional introducers, including lawyers, solicitors, accountants, and other advisors * Introduce suitable commercial finance solutions to clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings * Book meetings and pass qualified opportunities to senior brokers or account managers * Stay up to date with lender products and market trends * Accurately log activity and pipeline progress in the CRM * Consistently achieve activity and opportunity targets * Communicate professionally and confidently with senior professionals to build credibility and trust What’s on Offer: * £25,000-£28,000 basic salary * Uncapped commission * Enhanced holiday allowance plus bank holidays * Company pension * Clear progression into Broker / Account Manager roles * High-energy, collaborative team culture * Regular incentives, socials, and seasonal events What You’ll Need: * Minimum 1 year’s experience in a sales or business development role, ideally B2B * Proven experience building relationships with senior professionals * Strong communication skills and ability to remain professional and credible * Motivated, target-driven mindset with a proactive approach * Confidence handling objections and progressing conversations with professional clients
