Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of our applications, from designing robust backend services to crafting responsive user interfaces. This is a high-growth position perfect for an engineer who is passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and delivering high-quality features to our customers.

• Build and maintain customer-facing features across the entire stack using Java/Spring Boot and React.

• Design, develop, and consume REST and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless data flow.

• Write efficient queries and manage data structures in MySQL and DynamoDB.

• Participate in code reviews and write clean, testable code to ensure long-term maintainability.

• Collaborate with the team to improve system performance, scalability, and web accessibility.

Backend & Data

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java development.

• Interest in or experience with Spring Boot (or similar frameworks).

• Experience building or consuming APIs and a solid understanding of backend design principles.

• Proficiency with MySQL (or other RDBMS) and familiarity with NoSQL concepts like DynamoDB.

Frontend

• Basic knowledge of React and component-based UI development.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript or TypeScript.

• An understanding of state management concepts is a definite plus.

Engineering Excellence

• Basic knowledge of Git.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.

• A genuine interest in performance, scalability, and the end-user experience.

While not required, we’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience with Kotlin.

• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• An interest in using AI tooling to boost development productivity.
