This position can be a fully independent contractor running their own business or an independent contractor working under the umbrella of the private practice's business. We are looking to find a SLP wanting to work in a collaborative environment within a private practice setting. The right speech therapist must be fully licensed to work independently. Seeking trained pediatric speech pathologist. WHAT WE OFFER: - Full time contractors should expect $65,000-$85,000 per year. This amount is dependent on insurance contracts and candidate set private pay rate. The number of hours candidate works and caseload size will also impact income. - Weekly paychecks - Flexible scheduling- candidate determines schedule and hours worked as well as caseload size. - We are a small private practice is that is expanding. We are hoping to have multidisciplinary groups available for clients (including LMSW, SLP, and OT) - We are LGBTQ+ allied and inclusive - We offer a family friendly, relaxed work environment. Our facility is directed at the comfort and support of client families. - Easy parking and handicap accessible facility including 2 handicap restrooms. - Hot chocolate and coffee bar and water cooler for providers and clients - Half kitchen with break room that includes mid size refrigerator, with air fryer, microwave, toaster, and sink available. - Near several CATA bus stops for client convenience. - We have shared sensory room as well as Sand Tray Room - Wifi is included - Contractors get access to EHR and billing is done for them. - Practice can help with insurance credentialing Duties: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results - Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language development - Administer standardized tests and assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care - Educate clients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing abilities - Keep detailed records of client progress and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology - Must be capable of working independently. This opportunity will help jump start you in private practice or help you get your business started. We are seeking someone who will work at minimum part time in person to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. As an independent contractor, the candidate will get to make their own schedule and hours. Terms are negotiable based on independence level.
