Arborist/ Crew Lead- Experience Required

LAM Tree Service Inc. in Evergreen, Colorado is looking to hire an experienced Arborist/Crew Lead who is capable of leading and managing others.

Job requirements:

• Minimum of three years experience in the Tree Care industry.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industry standard practices are required.
• Knowledge of safe operation of industry specific equipment; chippers, chainsaws, stump grinder, aerial lift, etc. is required.
• Ability to problem solve and work with a diverse group of workers is required.

Compensation:

• Pay is dependent on experience, all experience will need to be verified with a past employer or training company.
• This position has traditionally been hourly pay, but a salaried employee would be considered with the right experience.
• Average pay is $70,000 per year ($35/hr) + benefits. This is a year round, full time position with benefits like paid holidays, paid vacation, employer matched retirement plan (3%), employer provided health plan (50%), safe work bonus, and educational programs.

Responsibilities:

• Working with crew members to verbally and physically illustrate common arboricultural practice's.
• Maintain safe working procedures on all jobs with crew.
• Communicate clearly the scope of work with crew members, assure their understanding of this scope.
• Communicate clearly with clients the job process and crew members task for that term.
• Follow company protocol.

For most of the year we work a four-ten schedule. This is when employees work four days per week (usually Monday through Thursday), ten hour shifts per day. Our team appreciates their three day weekends!
